Induction Cooking Revisited - New GE Profile Range

Taking the induction cooktop one step farther, GE has introduced its first Free-Standing Range with Induction Cooking. This new 30" entry into the GE Profile line features a 3700 watt output element for quick and efficient induction cooking. Induction cooking saves time by bringing water to the boiling point faster than gas or electric. It also offers the responsiveness of gas cooking, with much greater efficiency, as practically no heat is lost in the transference to the pot.

The GE PHB925SPSS not only offers an induction cooktop, but the super large 5.3 Cu. Ft. oven features the PreciseAir Convection System, which delivers even air and heat circulation for superior baking and roasting results. Hold foods at the proper temperature with the convenient warming drawer which keeps food up to 220 degrees. The Knob-Free controls illuminate, for ease in the control setting process, for both the cooktop and the oven. It is a stainless steel model, both elegant and functional.

Just a reminder, specific types of cookware are required for induction cooking. Cast iron, steel and some magnetic stainless steel are the types of cookware that will work on an induction cooktop. You can check your cookware by taking a refrigerator magnet, if it sticks to the bottom of your pot or pan, it will work with an induction cooktop.

With all the performance benefits of the GE Profile line, The PHB925SPSS gives the chef of your home, all the tools needed to prepare meals with restaurant level results.
